Claire Billenness

Managing Director

Claire has been involved with Clarity Workforce Technology since 2012, leading the business as Managing Director since 2014. Through her experience in implementing Master Vendor contracts within multiple staff groups across the NHS and Local Authorities, she saw firsthand the inefficiencies caused by poor staff deployment and the knock on effect on staffing requirements and spend. Together with Skillstream, she and her team have developed innovative solutions to these often complex problems. Claire initially trained as a management accountant before joining Pearson PLC as a graduate trainee, eventually becoming a Board Director at the Financial Times; she then joined Associated Newspapers as Managing Director. Claire has been involved with technology since the mid 90’s and specialises in transformation and change management. She is PRINCE 2 qualified and also has a keen interest in health and social care development. ‘’As a mother to a young child, and a child to aging parents I am eternally grateful for our NHS and Primary Care services – I want to help the system modernise to ensure we preserve this wonderful and unique legacy for future generations.’’ Fun facts about Claire: She is a qualified ski instructor.

Amanda Nicholls

Associate Director

Mandy has over 20 years experience in the commercial sector and recruitment industry; she has worked for Clarity for seven years. Her focus has been on effective staff deployment and the development of in-house banks to reduce agency in the healthcare sector. She firmly believes in building long term partnerships that continue to deliver value for money and better outcomes for the NHS. Her approach is always based on a clear understanding of the customer’s challenge and desired outcome. Mandy is currently leading a team of Clarity workforce specialists managing the in-house medical staff bank at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. Good stakeholder engagement ensured rapid mobilization and deployment of Claritystaffbank resulting avoidable cost savings of £512,000 in the first 10 weeks following go live. ‘’I believe my knowledge of the NHS and healthcare recruitment market helps put me in our client’s shoes, understand their challenges and find solutions that work’’. Mike Warren

Chief Financial Officer

An entrepreneurial CFO with a track record of enhancing profitability and growth in private equity backed businesses in the human capital sector especially recruitment, branding, media and employee communications businesses. Other notable achievements include co-founding and investing in a start-up, Work Group, and taking it to a £20 million IPO within five years. Raised private equity backing and bank finance and drove the business through organic and acquisitive growth becoming a Sunday Times No.8 Fast Track growth company and opening operations in Hong Kong and New York.

Tom Gellett

Head of Implementation & Support

Tom joined Clarity in May 2014 and has successfully implemented the Clarity technology across multiple staff groups the NHS and Local Authorities. He is a very experienced Project Manager, PRINCE2 qualified with over seven years' experience in the NHS, Managed Service and information technology sectors. Tom is responsible for Implementation and Quality Assurance at Clarity and leads an exceptional team of people. He firmly believes good people lead to good implementations. His team continue to shape our products and service development ensuring we continue to deliver a market leading solution. ‘’I truly believe ‘We make complex simple.' Our technology and people help to ensure this is the case. My goal with each implementation is to ensure we not only provide the technical knowledge, but work in a collaborative way with our clients to ensure the solution best meets their operational requirements.’’ Fun facts about Tom: He's a cycling fanatic and a massive geek with his very own man cave full of retro gaming and collectables.

Ollie Lewis

Account Director

Ollie has worked in the NHS since leaving University, initially taking up a position at Bart’s Health then moving to work for NHS Professionals managing temporary staffing contracts in Hertfordshire and North London, where he successfully improved bank fill and reduced agency spend in all staff groups. Ollie joined Clarity in May 2017 and since then has helped Clarity customers generate savings of over £3m by driving Direct Engagement (DE), transitioning workers to Claritystaffbanks and reducing agency spend by advising on best practice. We place great emphasis on utilising data to improve temporary staffing booking behaviours. ‘’What makes working at Clarity great - the technology and the people. Emma Dandy

Operations Manager - Leeds Team

Emma first joined Clarity in December 2016 as Business Development Manager for the North. She's worked in the Public sector for over 14 years, spending 3 years at Lancashire Care as an experienced HR Transformation Manager. Emma was responsible for the delivery of HR strategy and Business Plans, successfully managing a CQC audit and undertaking Operational Management of Temporary and Medical Staffing teams. "I look forward to building a long term partnership with Mid Yorkshire Hospitals to support service delivery and improve standards of care and treatment." Fun fact about Emma: She's a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Tony Hall

Booking Officer - Leeds Team

Tony has worked as a recruitment consultant in the healthcare sector before joining Clarity in February 2018. He comes with a wealth of experience in recruiting doctors of all grades and specialities, with particular emphasis on locum doctors for the NHS. He now supports the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and is really proud of the work Clarity have done. Fun fact about Tony: He has a keen interest in free-fall parachuting and clay pigeon shooting. Sophie Ault

Resourcer - Leeds Team

Sophie has an interesting background in healthcare recruitment, specialising in locum Pharmacists. Her experience has given her a keen insight into the healthcare industry and the workings of the NHS. She currently works as a Resourcer for Clarity based in the Leeds office. Fun fact about Sophie: She grew up on the outskirts of New York City and returned to the UK four years ago.

Precious Nkomo

Booking Officer - Leeds Team

Precious joined Clarity in February 2018 as a booking officer supporting the Mid Yorkshire Trust. She is a psychology graduate with experience in the medical locum recruitment industry. Fun facts about Precious: Her hobbies include, travelling, dining out and shopping. Once her children are grown up she wants to travel more and experience different cultures and traditions.

Tracey Brotherton

Compliance and Training Officer - Leeds Team

Tracey has 15 years' experience in teaching disabled children aged 11-19. She was asked to help with compliance and legislation for an award status that the school she worked for was trying to gain. She fell in love with it and developed a keen interest for more compliance-based work. She decided to change her career path to NHS compliance. She now has gained several years’ experience within compliance dealing with external agencies on approved frameworks, HTE and government regulations. Fun facts about Tracey: - Along with her Phlebotomy skills, she teaches Fire Safety and Moving & Handling to Skills for Health standard. - She also lends her skills to Basic Life Support for UK Resuscitation Guidelines. I’m proud to be part of Clarity team’s mission to aid development and implementation of compliance within the NHS.

Tyler Marshall

Support Analyst

Tyler ensures clients and candidates alike are comfortable using the system and completing their daily tasks, maintaining system stability and raising any abnormalities to the developers for a efficient resolution. Tyler runs payroll and weekly reports for existing clients and holds monthly webinars for existing and recently on-boarded agencies. Tyler's professional background has been in technical supportive roles for the last 4 years, which he thoroughly enjoys. Diagnosing faults and ensuring their resolution comes to fruition in a speedy manner is something he is most passionate about. He joined the Clarity support team in January 2017 and has thoroughly enjoyed the role whilst building relationships with his team members. Having previously worked in the betting industry, Tyler is happy to be supporting a technology that was fundamentally built to improve lives and ensure cost efficiency within the NHS. "I am proud of the Clarity team as a whole, I haven't worked with a team that are as close as we are and I feel the teamwork we display is reflected in the product itself. Joanna Paire

Business Analyst

Joanna is responsible for the diagnostics, implementation, management, sales and service delivery of the Clarity solution prior to and upon the completion of signed contracts. She works as part of the Clarity implementation team undertaking overall organisation of the Clarity product and delivery. By liaising with senior executives within Clarity, client and agency suppliers, Joanna ensures the smooth implementation and ongoing delivery of the 3rd party technology platform. (Skillstream) Joanna has been working in the technology and recruitment industry for the past few years, starting as a sales executive/account manager, moving on to a customer experience executive role. She then joined Clarity as a Support analyst. "I am particularly proud to be part of a multifaceted and passionate team, who are subject matter experts in their area." Fun fact about Joanna: She adores all animals.

Eric Phong Manh Ly

Partnerships and Compliance Coordinator

Eric supports the Partnership team in the day to day management of the subcontractor relations across all of Clarity and HCL’s master vend and neutral vend contracts. He is also responsible for supporting the compliance administration of Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust's bank workers. Eric has previous coordinator experience from his tenure at Barclays where he was assigned various projects. After which he joined the Clarity team in 2018 as Compliance and Partnerships Coordinator. "I am proud to be part of Clarity because we’re a company growing in the right direction. The environment is really conducive to good work because everyone is willing to support you and help you succeed. Tony Ha

Support Analyst

Tony advises and assists our clients, suppliers and candidates on how to best use the Clarity system. He is the link between our technology partners and the users of the system, should they experience any technical issues. In addition to this, he supports our clients and the Clarity team with reporting, payroll, software improvement, training and implementation. Tony is a highly enthusiastic professional with two years' experience in IT support from Barclays. Tony is highly skilled in tracking details, meeting deadlines and following up with internal stake holders and approvers. He joined Clarity in July 2018 and is thriving in his new role as support analyst. "I am proud to be part of Clarity as everyone is gracious and encouraging.
