Working Lunch

On the 8th of October, Clarity hosted its first working lunch at The King’s Fund in central London.

Guests from London as well as the North attended our event to have a frank discussion with Ian Carr, Assoc. Director, as well as like-minded professionals.  It was a day packed with valuable insights and ideas. All guests shared the same goal: to increase efficiencies in NHS Trusts whilst reducing the amount of agency spend on temporary staffing.

How the day started

Guests arrived at 11:00 for tea/coffee and to meet the Clarity team. There were some familiar faces but the majority were new. It delighted us to see a room full of professionals eager to learn about our journey at Mid Yorks and how to top efficiencies in other NHS Trusts. Once our guests were acquainted with one another, we took our seats.

Q&A with Ian Carr

The Q&A session was led by Clarity’s Managing Director, Claire Billenness, and supported by our Account Manager, Oliver Lewis. Ian Carr  provided the audience with a 360 view of Mid Yorks’ journey from contract award through to implementation and savings made.

Our guests were highly impressed with Clarity’s solution and, as a result, had many eager questions for our client. We are extremely grateful to Ian for his time lent to Clarity on this day. It helped open our guests’ eyes to a journey they may soon be embarking on.

Feedback and open discussion

After the Q&A, we invited our guests to share the challenges they are facing at their own Trusts. Unsurprisingly, they were struggling to find a way to gain control over their agency spend on temporary staffing. Upon hearing that Mid Yorks were on NHSi’s watch list for so long and had recently been removed, it made everyone extremely keen to learn more about Clarity’s superb solution.

 

Lunch & networking

After our discussions and sharing of ideas, we built up quite an appetite. All our guests enjoyed a delicious lunch buffet whilst networking and building new relationships with each other.

Valuable insights gathered

All our findings were compiled into a takeaway PDF for attendees only. This document is highly unique to interested parties as it thoroughly details our journey at Mid Yorks. Clarity was there every step of the way to help Ian Carr steer the Trust in a better direction with regards to savings and staffing efficiencies.
