I am Claire Billenness
Claire has been involved with Clarity Workforce Technology since 2012, leading the business as Managing Director since 2014. Through her experience in implementing Master Vendor contracts within multiple staff groups across the NHS and Local Authorities, she saw firsthand the inefficiencies caused by poor staff deployment and the knock on effect on staffing requirements and spend.
Together with Skillstream, she and her team have developed innovative solutions to these often complex problems.
Claire initially trained as a management accountant before joining Pearson PLC as a graduate trainee, eventually becoming a Board Director at the Financial Times; she then joined Associated Newspapers as Managing Director. Claire has been involved with technology since the mid 90’s and specialises in transformation and change management. She is PRINCE 2 qualified and also has a keen interest in health and social care development.

I am Michael Warren
Chief Financial Officer
An entrepreneurial CFO with a track record of enhancing profitability and growth in private equity backed businesses in the human capital sector especially recruitment, branding, media and employee communications businesses. Other notable achievements include co-founding and investing in a start-up, Work Group, and taking it to a £20 million IPO within five years. Raised private equity backing and bank finance and drove the business through organic and acquisitive growth becoming a Sunday Times No.8 Fast Track growth company and opening operations in Hong Kong and New York.
I am Amanda Nicholls
Mandy has over 20 years experience in the commercial sector and recruitment industry; she has worked for Clarity for seven years. Her focus has been on effective staff deployment and the development of in-house banks to reduce agency in the healthcare sector. She firmly believes in building long term partnerships that continue to deliver value for money and better outcomes for the NHS. Her approach is always based on a clear understanding of the customer’s challenge and desired outcome.
Mandy is currently leading a team of Clarity workforce specialists managing the in-house medical staff bank at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. Good stakeholder engagement ensured rapid mobilization and deployment of Claritystaffbank resulting avoidable cost savings of £512,000 in the first 10 weeks following go live.

I am Charlotte Rush
I am responsible for the support services at Clarity Workforce Tech, which includes marketing, bids & tenders, HR, training, IT and facilities. I help to ensure the smooth running of the company and work very closely with the Managing Director on the strategy and direction.
I joined Clarity in 2015, when it was part of HCL Workforce. Prior to working for Clarity I had held the position of Marketing Director for the recruitment agency Blue Arrow, before which I was a Marketing Lead at Accenture in their Communications & High Tech division.
The whole ethos of working for Clarity excites me. Being part of a small team allows every single person’s voice to be heard. We’re a very close team and every day at work is different and exciting.
Our technology is built to make our clients’ lives easier by making them more efficient, ultimately helping them save money. When your biggest client is the NHS, it really makes you proud to be part of Clarity.
I love to travel and experience new cultures. When my daughters are slightly older I hope to take them travelling on a regular basis.
I am Tom Gellett
Head of Implementation & Support
Tom joined Clarity in May 2014 and has successfully implemented the Clarity technology across multiple staff groups the NHS and Local Authorities. He is a very experienced Project Manager, PRINCE2 qualified with over seven years' experience in the NHS, Managed Service and information technology sectors.
Tom is responsible for Implementation and Quality Assurance at Clarity and leads an exceptional team of people. He firmly believes good people lead to good implementations. His team continue to shape our products and service development ensuring we continue to deliver a market leading solution. ‘’I truly believe ‘We make complex simple.' Our technology and people help to ensure this is the case. My goal with each implementation is to ensure we not only provide the technical knowledge, but work in a collaborative way with our clients to ensure the solution best meets their operational requirements.’’

I am Irina Buzdugan
Working closely with my Managing Director, Commercial Director and senior executives, I develop and oversee marketing plans aligned to Clarity’s business strategies. I focus on getting our incredible technology in front of key stakeholders in the NHS to raise brand awareness and increase our profitability. My passion for creative brand communications is absolute.
Along with my daily duties and ongoing projects, I manage and assist with bids and tenders, proof check important documents and case studies, nurture our CRM, manage the website, write press commentaries and thought leadership papers, coordinate events, organise marketing collateral, manage a marketing budget, engage social media and equip our sales team with the material they need to close a deal.

I am Simon Kealy
Business Development Manager
I am responsible for business development primarily in the south of England which includes identifying and following up leads and opportunities, meeting with current and potential clients, presenting demonstrations of our systems and representing the company at relevant, corporate events.
I have over 10 years Medical Workforce and HR recruitment experience and have built strong relationships across the whole of the UK with senior HR professionals in the NHS. I am a member of NAMPS (the National Association of Medical Personnel Specialists) which gives me access to current trends, competitor information and the opportunity to promote Clarity and our products amongst a key influencing and decision-making community,
Clarity is a really special place to work because we have a close-knit team with a hard work ethic. The quality of our products is second to none and most importantly, the expertise of my colleagues is exceptional.

I play piano to a high standard and have been performing professionally and semi-professionally for over 20 years. During the mid 1990’s, I was a session musician and provided keys/synth for a selection of “Britpop” bands and performed across the UK, Europe and America.
I am Jason Potter
Business Development Manager
I'm Clarity's Business Development Manager for the North of England and Scotland. I have 12 years' experience in recruitment and key account development. Of those 12 years, 4 were spent within the Healthcare Sector.
I'm proud of Clarity because we are giving confidence and much needed control back to the NHS, our ultimate goal being to secure our National Health Service for decades to come!

I am Ollie Lewis
Ollie has worked in the NHS since leaving University, initially taking up a position at Bart’s Health then moving to work for NHS Professionals managing temporary staffing contracts in Hertfordshire and North London, where he successfully improved bank fill and reduced agency spend in all staff groups.
Ollie joined Clarity in May 2017 and since then has helped Clarity customers generate savings of over £3m by driving Direct Engagement (DE), transitioning workers to Claritystaffbanks and reducing agency spend by advising on best practice. We place great emphasis on utilising data to improve temporary staffing booking behaviours.

I am Emma Dandy
Operations Manager - Leeds Team
Emma first joined Clarity in December 2016 as Business Development Manager for the North. She's worked in the Public sector for over 14 years, spending 3 years at Lancashire Care as an experienced HR Transformation Manager. Emma was responsible for the delivery of HR strategy and Business Plans, successfully managing a CQC audit and undertaking Operational Management of Temporary and Medical Staffing teams.

I am Alistair Lewis
I'm responsible for the diagnostics, implementation, management, sales and service delivery of the Clarity solution prior to and upon the completion of signed contracts. I work as part of the implementation team to supervise the overall organisation of the Clarity product and delivery. I liaise with senior executives within Clarity, clients and agency suppliers working with our 3rd party technology platform, Skillstream.
I joined the Clarity team in September 2018 as Business Analyst. Before Clarity, my passion for tech began in an Operational Support role with a small start-up which helped me gain insight into IT infrastructure and Software Development. I was responsible supporting System Administrator, Developers and Customers. With a keen desire to support the customer through the use of technology it prompted me to move into a Business Analyst role and developed my understanding of Project Management techniques utilising PRINCE2.
I’m proud to work in a business driving efficiencies through technology in the NHS, thereby reducing waste and improving services. By building a strong understanding with the trusts and tailoring technology, I believe Clarity can offer something unique to its clients.

I am Joanna Paire
Joanna is responsible for the diagnostics, implementation, management, sales and service delivery of the Clarity solution prior to and upon the completion of signed contracts. She works as part of the Clarity implementation team undertaking overall organisation of the Clarity product and delivery. By liaising with senior executives within Clarity, client and agency suppliers, Joanna ensures the smooth implementation and ongoing delivery of the 3rd party technology platform. (Skillstream)
Joanna has been working in the technology and recruitment industry for the past few years, starting as a sales executive/account manager, moving on to a customer experience executive role. She then joined Clarity as a Support analyst.

I am Tyler Marshall
Tyler ensures clients and candidates alike are comfortable using the system and completing their daily tasks, maintaining system stability and raising any abnormalities to the developers for a efficient resolution. Tyler runs payroll and weekly reports for existing clients and holds monthly webinars for existing and recently on-boarded agencies.
Tyler's professional background has been in technical supportive roles for the last 4 years, which he thoroughly enjoys. Diagnosing faults and ensuring their resolution comes to fruition in a speedy manner is something he is most passionate about. He joined the Clarity support team in January 2017 and has thoroughly enjoyed the role whilst building relationships with his team members.
Having previously worked in the betting industry, Tyler is happy to be supporting a technology that was fundamentally built to improve lives and ensure cost efficiency within the NHS.

I am Eric Phong Manh Ly
Partnerships and Compliance Coordinator
Eric supports the Partnership team in the day to day management of the subcontractor relations across all of Clarity and HCL’s master vend and neutral vend contracts. He is also responsible for supporting the compliance administration of Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust's bank workers. Eric has previous coordinator experience from his tenure at Barclays where he was assigned various projects. After which he joined the Clarity team in 2018 as Compliance and Partnerships Coordinator.

I am Tony Ha
Tony advises and assists our clients, suppliers and candidates on how to best use the Clarity system. He is the link between our technology partners and the users of the system, should they experience any technical issues. In addition to this, he supports our clients and the Clarity team with reporting, payroll, software improvement, training and implementation. Tony is a highly enthusiastic professional with two years' experience in IT support from Barclays. Tony is highly skilled in tracking details, meeting deadlines and following up with internal stake holders and approvers. He joined Clarity in July 2018 and is thriving in his new role as support analyst.

I am Tracey Brotherton
Compliance & Training Officer - Leeds Team
Tracey has 15 years' experience in teaching disabled children aged 11-19. She was asked to help with compliance and legislation for an award status that the school she worked for was trying to gain. She fell in love with it and developed a keen interest for more compliance-based work. She decided to change her career path to NHS compliance. She now has gained several years’ experience within compliance dealing with external agencies on approved frameworks, HTE and government regulations.

- Along with her Phlebotomy skills, she teaches Fire Safety and Moving & Handling to Skills for Health standard. - She also lends her skills to Basic Life Support for UK Resuscitation Guidelines. I’m proud to be part of Clarity team’s mission to aid development and implementation of compliance within the NHS.
I am Sophie Ault
Resourcer - Leeds Team
Sophie has an interesting background in healthcare recruitment, specialising in locum Pharmacists. Her experience has given her a keen insight into the healthcare industry and the workings of the NHS. She currently works as a Resourcer for Clarity based in the Leeds office.

I am Tony Hall
Booking Officer - Leeds Team
Tony has worked as a recruitment consultant in the healthcare sector before joining Clarity in February 2018. He comes with a wealth of experience in recruiting doctors of all grades and specialities, with particular emphasis on locum doctors for the NHS. He now supports the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and is really proud of the work Clarity have done.
